INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR BENEFICIARIES' PARTICIPATION IN THREE (3) 20-HOUR EDUCATIONAL TRAINING COURSES WITH THE BELOW TITLES
1st : Introduction to natural disaster management – Natural disasters and climate change, 20 hours online
2nd: Natural disaster assessment and mapping- Disaster Management Phases, 20 hours Study Visit
3rd: Geoinformatics technologies in natural hazard and disaster management, 20 hours on line
They are included in the 2nd cycle of 3 training sessions of 20 hours of deliverable D.4.2 “Natural disasters. Prevention, management, recovery - Use of new technologies -” of the project “Joint Cross Border innovative forest fires protection and prevention” with acronym: “FireFly”.
Twenty (20) beneficiaries will participate in each training, indicatively 10 from Greece and 10 from
North Macedonia and the training will be conducted in English. For holders of a university degree,
participation in 2 of the 3 trainings may lead to free participation in certification exams in “Natural
disasters. Prevention, management, recovery – Use of new technologies”. For secondary education
graduates, participation in all 3 trainings (3/3) is required in order to be able to participate in the
certification exams in “Natural disasters. Prevention, management, recovery – Use of new
technologies”.
The certification exam in “Natural Disasters. Prevention, Management, Recovery – Use of New
Technologies” is provided free of charge by the project.
The certification is accredited according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17024:2012 by ESYD,
the legally competent organization, and makes the certificate recognized and accepted as equivalent
by the National Accreditation Bodies of the EA (European cooperation for Accreditation) member
countries.
